Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists (OTs) are healthcare professionals who help people restore function and participate fully in the activities that matter most in their daily lives. In pelvic health, this includes supporting bladder and bowel function, intimacy, postpartum recovery, movement, and overall well-being.

Tamara is a passionate pelvic health therapist dedicated to helping people feel empowered, comfortable, and at home in their bodies. She approaches care through a biopsychosocial lens—integrating holistic, evidence-based, and individualized treatment. With a background in yoga and specialized certification in trauma-informed care, Tamara creates a safe, supportive space that honors both the body and nervous system and keeps her clients in the driver’s seat of their care.

Tamara grew up in Ohio but has called North Carolina home for over 25 years. Outside of work, you can find her grabbing a yoga class, spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, traveling, and exploring new places. She loves tacos, thai food and coffee flavored ice cream. She believes in providing compassionate care, educating people about their body and building on each person’s strengths to guide them towards their goals.
